Building a collective decision

Faced with an uncertain situation, the team's instincts become visible: who shares their information, which arguments are heard, how disagreements are resolved, and at what point a collective choice emerges.

Lost at Sea frames this question as a fictional, lively, and accessible survival challenge. After the 90-minute experience, a 45-minute facilitated debrief allows the team to reflect on how they listen, compare viewpoints, and decide together.

What participants experience

  1. A fictional survival challenge

An uncertain, lively and accessible situation to tackle as a team.

  2. Sharing information

Each person decides what to share and what to withhold—and the group sees it.

  3. Resolving disagreements

Viewpoints are debated before a collective choice emerges.

  4. A facilitated debrief

45 minutes to reflect on listening, information sharing, and collective decision-making.

What the experience provides

  • See your collaborative instincts in action

Observe what happens in the team when the answers aren't obvious.

  • Discuss collective decision-making
